Baba permitted the Zoroastrian thread ceremony of Meherwan and Sam to be performed on Sunday, 9 April. Pappa Jessawala came for the occasion and had the ceremony performed at a local agyari by its resident priest. Masaji prepared a feast for the 200 attendees. The two boys were taken to meet Baba after the ceremony.
